Threadhopping: Sure, it's probably bound to happen with Vanitas. Just give me a heads' up beforehand if there's anything interesting being discussed 'cause Vanitas will want to observe that.

Hugging this character: ... hahahaha what are hugs :| You're more than likely going to get thrown into something if you try.
Kissing this character: Again, much like the previous answer, but with a Keyblade to the face.
Flirting with this character: Go ahead if you so wish. He'll entertain the person if he knows them well enough, but beyond that? He doesn't really care. He has bigger things to attend to, like getting Ventus' body and completing his goal. But, hey, if your character can stand up to him and keep him entertained, it might work.
Fighting with this character: It's bound to happen! So, yes, I'm fine with this as long as it makes sense.
Injuring this character: Sure, go for it. Just keep in mind that any cure/healing/restorative magic is going to work on him, too. Potions do not have this effect, so you're in the clear.
Killing this character: Ask me first.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: No, unless if I've given you my explicit permission. Vanitas will know someone's in his head and will try to force them out through any means necessary because he does not want others in his head.
Warnings:
First off, Vanitas is much more unhinged than his canon counterpart. While he's still capable of rational and logical thought - especially when it matters - he has no qualms about striking the first blow to someone or just kick them while they are down. So, this makes him that much trickier of an opponent than usual. That being said, I would like for people to let me know if they suspect him of ulterior motives or doing something he's not supposed to because he covers up his tracks at all costs. (Though, really, I'm open to all of the plots regarding this. I just want him to be a believable villain like he is in the games.)
Secondly, the Unversed. In Birth by Sleep, it's said that the Unversed are Vanitas' lingering emotions and ran wild. Thanks to his time in the Badlands, he's crazier and they're more volatile because of his hate and darkness running amok. So, they'll be stronger than usual and will hit just as fast.
That being said, when one Unversed is destroyed, Vanitas will feel it directly since they're a part of him. He's used to them being annihilated, which only furthers his madness. They'll spawn up at random or his own will and will appear in a group or alone. You do not need to get my permission to have them hurt your character! They are also drawn to characters with strong ties to darkness or to light. If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up.
